4 Signs a Diet Will Only Leave You Hungry and Miserable

A study in the Journal of the American Medical Association found that, the best diet is the one you’ll actually stick with. Now, the big deal is in knowing which diet to settle for. Ever found yourself craving for something to fill you up even after eating.

Your diet might actually be the problem. You have to be real with yourself to know what works best for you and choosing a diet that will leave you hungry and miserable should be out of the question. Here are some signs to help you determine whether, your diet is leaving you hungry and miserable.

1. It doesn’t mesh with your lifestyle

In settling with a diet, you have to consider your lifestyle. A diet that requires lots of meal prep will most likely not fit into your schedule of a very busy person. As a result of this, you may find yourself going hungry too often which can cause you to give into junk food since you don’t have much time to prep your meal anyway.

Also, if you love to eat out with friends, you will find it difficult to settle with a diet that puts a limit on your ability to eat out. While you make your meal plans, consider your lifestyle and see whether they can go hand in hand.

2. It’s all-liquid

Although smoothies are perfect for a healthy diet, you can’t possibly live on liquids all day. You might not meet your daily calorie intake with this, which could slow down your metabolism and might even give you digestion issues.

3.  It cuts too many calories

The ideal number of calories for daily intake should be 1,200. If your diet plan makes you eat less than this, then you should consider staying off it. When you eat less than your body requires, you end up burning muscles instead of just fat and this can affect your body’s build.

4. It requires you to eat foods you hate

No one wants to feel miserable all their lives and food shouldn’t add to your misery in any way. If your diet plan makes you eat foods you hate, you will most likely not be satisfied with anything you eat, because you will have your cravings directed elsewhere.

If you notice any of these signs in your diet, you sound probably switch things up a little so you don’t end up wasting productive time on something with little or no benefit.
