Smoking is bad for your health and there’s no way around it. The effects of smoking are so bad that they can harm nearly every organ of the body and can lead to death. It is responsible for many cancers and health problems. These include lung diseases, heart problems and can also increase the risk of pneumonia and cataracts. Smoking is also harmful for other people who breathe in your smoke and can get many of the same problems as smokers do.

As soon as you quit smoking, your body begins to repair the damage caused by smoking. Of course it’s best to quit early in life, but even someone who quits later in life can improve their health.
3. You can reduce your chance of having a heart attack
The chemicals in tobacco smoke harm your blood cells. They also can damage the functioning of your heart and the structure and function of your blood vessels. This damage increases your risk of atherosclerosis.
Yet another powerful smoking cessation reason is your money. Cigarettes cost money and it won’t come as a shock to you to find out that you’re literally paying the tobacco industry to poison you. But you have no idea of how much you’re paying for that privilege.
5. Passive smokers
Smokers aren’t just taking themselves down. They’re also harming everyone exposed to that smoke. Quit smoking today and reduce the risk of health problems. The earlier you quit, the greater will be the benefit.
