4 processed foods safe for you to eat

You hear a lot of how unsafe processed foods are, with the artificial additives, sweeteners, chemicals, and extra sugar that they contain, and most of their nutrients stripped away. This is true of course, but there are exceptions; not every company does things the same way as everybody else. Some of these foods are:

  1. Maisie Jane’s Almond Butter

Unlike other packaged products which have additional ingredients to the main food they should be selling, this packaged product contains only almond butter. Nothing is added to it; no salt, no additives, no preservers, no chemicals.

Absolutely nothing is added to this food, eliminating the chance of developing diseases and complications that arise from artificial chemicals.

Almond butter contains a high level of protein, fiber, magnesium and vitamin E, helping with cell building and repair, weight loss, increased bone strength, and a reduction in the symptoms of aging.

  1. ANNIE CHUN’S ROASTED SEAWEED SNACKS

Seaweed snacks are a regular part of the Korean diet, filled with nutrients and minerals like vitamin A and vitamin C that boost the immune system and improve eye function.

This particular package contains only four ingredients needed to prepare the seaweeds for human consumption; canola oil, salt, sesame oil, and seaweed. The salt content is actually very low, so there is no need to worry about it.

  1. Love Grown Foods

Love Grown Foods is a company that specializes in producing oats, and it offers several versions of its products with none of them containing sugar or any artificial sweetener, preservative, or any other artificial chemical. The only ingredients used in making their oats are chia seeds, quinoa, amaranth, and gluten-free oats.

Because of this their products contain more fiber than most other oats in the market. You can also make them into what you like (adding fruits, and etcetera) because of their sugarless content.

  1. Wonderful Pistachios

Pistachios and sea salt are the only two ingredients used to make Wonderful Pistachios.

This is good because nuts can easily become bad for you if partnered with unhealthy sugars and fat dressings.

They also contain a variety of nutrients including fiber, protein, and fats that raise your HDL cholesterol (good) blood level.
