Crohn’s disease is chronic inflammatory bowel disease, that could affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract but mostly occurs in the small intestine and in the colon. In some people symptoms and the effects of crohn’s disease can be mild but for others effects could be life threatening .

Crohn’s disease has no cure but there are very effective treatments to reduce the symptoms of crohn’s disease. Crohn’s disease can occur at any age but mostlty affects the individuals below the age of 30.

Immune system, crohn’s disease is believed to a result of an autoimmune disorder. An autoimmune disorder is a situation where the bodies immune system attacks normal body parts instead of harmful infections, bacteria and microorganisms.

Gene, crohn’s disease is also believed to be genetic. Most people diagonised with crohn’s disease are mostly of a particular race or descent.

Environment has been proven to have great effects on the risk of colon cancer. Factors such as stress, pollution and weather are said to greatly influence colon cancer.

Unhealthy lifestyle like smoking is said to worsen symptoms of colon cancer. A smoker has very low chance of living a healthy life and warding away symptoms of colon cancer.
