Stretch marks can be very embarrassing and not pleasing to see. They are visible on the body parts such as the tummy, thighs, hips, breasts, upper arms and the lower back. They are usually in a slightly red or purple shade in the beginning and with the passage of time, the color fades to silvery white lines that may or may not disappear.
Stretch marks are narrow, long lines occur as a result of a sudden stretching of the skin and are extremely common. Anyone can have stretch marks but they occur more in women than men.
There are natural and easy ways to get rid of the stretch marks. Mentioned below are a few ways.
1. Aloe Vera
This is a plant that grows wildly in tropical climates around the world. It is a very important plant and is used for several medicinal purposes. It is very effective in the treatment of many skin problems and its soothing and healing properties can be used to cure the stretch marks.
The gel should be rubbed directly on the affected skin area, then leave it on for about 15 minutes and lastly, rinse the skin with warm water. Repeat daily, you’ll see good results.
Natural white sugar is like the best natural remedy to cure stretch marks. It exfoliates the skin.
The white sugar should be mixed with some almond oil and a few drops of lemon juice. After mixing it well, apply it on the affected area of the skin and gently rub for a few minutes. Do this every day before taking shower.
3. Egg whites
We use only the egg whites for stretch marks. Eggs are highly rich in protein and the egg whites are made up of amino acids and proteins.
The first step in this procedure is to whip the whites of two eggs gently with a fork, and apply the thick layer on the affected area of the skin after cleaning the area first. Allow the egg whites to dry completely and then use cold water to rinse it. Apply some olive oil afterwards to keep your skin moisturized.
4. Castor oil
Castor oil is not only used in the treatment of wrinkles, age spots, fine lines and pimples but can also be used in the treatment of stretch marks.
Apply the oil on the affected area in circular motions for about 5 minutes, wrap the area with a thin cotton cloth. Use a heating pad or hot water bottle to apply heat to the affected area for at least 30 minutes.
5. Lemon juice
Finally, using lemon juice can help to lessen the stretch marks because lemon is naturally acidic which can help in healing the stretch marks. Just rub the lemon juice on the skin and allow it to soak into the skin for about 10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
