If your earlier diet plans are not working anymore, make it a point of duty to get the most operational diets which are proven to work effectively. Keep in mind that it is not a quick fix but does work with whatever your weight loss goal, age, gender, overall health and level of activity, and dietary requirements are.
Get the most operational diet by beginning at step number one. Create a food log of what you eat on a normal day. Take note of how many carbs, fruits, proteins, veggies, dairy products and fats or sweets you consume daily.
1. Stop eating all desserts or sugary foods for two weeks
This is the opening two weeks of your operational diet. Keep in mind that fat free desserts are still desserts so you should probably stop eating them all together. Sugary foods include a few things you probably may not think of like bread, breakfast cereals, prepackaged savory sauces and some ready-made meals which contain a lot of sugar. Cut these out as well as pies, pastries, candy, doughnuts, chocolate, cookies, biscuits, cakes and the others.
2. Limit the amount of carbohydrates you eat
Do not get rid of them totally, they are vital. Choose your own restriction. Be guided by your doctor if you deem it necessary. They would mostly recommend 130 grams for adult females.
An effective diet is one that is professionally recommended by your doctor. It doesn’t matter what limit you set for yourself, just make sure a limit is set.
3. Increase your fruit, veggie and meat consumption
These are the foods that give you the most vitamins and nutrients. This article doesn’t vouch for a vegetarian diet as being effective. If you already eat five or more portions of vegetable or fruits a day, eat more. Consumption of meat such as pork, steak, chicken, venison, veal, etc., should also be increased.
4. Make sure you are eating at least three meals and two snacks per day
If you eat proper balanced meals, you may not need to eat snacks, but you should eat snacks at least twice a day.
5. Attempt to do some type of cardio activity
Be sure to get your heart rate above 120 for a constant period of 30 minutes or more. Do cardio activity 3 time or more in a week.
Make sure you eat breakfast, even if it is just a piece of fruit. This will kick start your metabolism to get the day going. Drink a lot of water as it essential for your organs and will help you to get rid of harmful toxins.
