How to Lose One Pound of Fat in One Day?

Before we get started with this article, I want to bring to your notice that this article is in no way intended to promote a magical and rapid working weight loss solution. The best way to lose weight is to ensure that you have healthy eating habits and exercise frequently and regularly to lose the pounds one step at a time.

Now, if you’re looking to make weight loss your central goal, then I recommend that you slow things down by making sure you don’t lose more than 1 -2 pounds per week, but if you’re looking forward to lose weight before a special event, then it’s possible to lose a pound in a single day. Let’s discuss this further.

Reduce your caloric intake

This is done by taking in foods that contains 1,200 to 1,500 calories a day depending on your weight and how consistent you are in your exercises.  You can reduce your calorie intake by consuming smaller portions and by eating healthier foods.

  • Cut out sugar, fat, salt, and most carbohydrates from your regular diet. While a normal diet should contain these things in moderation, you should cut these foods out completely while trying to lose weight quickly.
  • Cut down on calories by using a cooking spray rather than olive oil, vegetable oil, or butter.
  • Don’t add salad dressings or cooking sauces to your food, as these are loaded with extra calories. Season your meal with lime, pepper, vinegar or hot sauce.

Do aerobic exercises for at least 2 hours everyday

You will still need to burn more calories despite the little amount of food that you consume in order to lose a pound in one day.  Here’s a list of some top calorie-burning aerobic activities:

Drink plenty of water

Staying hydrated not only keeps your stomach full but also replenishes your fluid content and retains your energetic attitude while exercising. It will be very wise to drink between 10 to 12 cups of water each day.

To make the water more tasty add lemon, lime or cucumber to it.

Chew gum

Many people overeat and smoke cigarettes because of an oral fixation. Combat this by keeping your mouth busy with a stick of gum. Plus, chewing gum burns calories and strengthens the jawbone.

Eat ginger root as well. Ginger energizes the body and helps speed up digestion. Make ginger tea by boiling some ginger root in hot water, or cut up some ginger and add it to your salad or stir-fry.
