So normally when you wake up, the first thing you want to think of is breakfast but I would advice you to drink a glass of water or squeeze fresh lemons into a cold glass of water. Why? It detoxes and kickstarts your metabolism. When you’re done, take a 30 minutes break before thinking of breakfast. For breakfast, you should go with fruits like oranges, apples, grapefruit, pear, hazelnuts and almonds/nuts. Sugar from fruits are most effective during morning hours because that’s the best time they are nicely distributed round your body. This way, you are not only getting sugars to give you energy for the day, but also proteins and healthy nutrients that will satisfy your need for hunger.
For lunch, you could go for a slice of cooked meat, two cups of yogurt and a side dish of veggies. Avoid bread and creamy salads. A few hours after your lunch, it is time for a snack. However instead of going all chips and chocolate for your snack, make a fresh seasonal salad, add just a pinch of salt and some olive oil and you are set.
Now you are set for dinner. It should be your last meal for the day and most importantly, it should be before 6pm. Your dinner menu should consist of two hard boiled eggs, green salad or cucumber salad with olive oil. The hard part where people get tempted is after 6pm but all you need is determination during this period. However, since your diet before 6 pm consists of proteins and healthy nutrients, you should be fine. Prepare green tea, one liter of water with 4 bags of green tea, and drink it before bedtime.
Furthermore, you should practice and be consistent with this diet and in no time you should drop 10 pounds in one week.
