All you need to do is lighten up your favorite tangy drinks with the few satisfying margarita recipes below, which all are under 300 calories.

Frosty blended margaritas

What do we need for this bundle of tastiness?

Lime wedges

Kosher salt for the glasses’ rims

½ cup juice from fresh limes or Mexican limons

½ cup tequila

1 ½ tablespoons Contreau 9orange-flavoured liqueur)

12 cubes of ice


1 Run a lime wedge around the edge of each glass. Then dip rims into a saucer filled with salt.

1 ½ ounces Tequila Avion

¾ ounce Cointreau Orange Liqueur

1 ounce Blood Orange Juice

1 orange twist, for garnish


In a cocktail shaker, add first four ingredients with ice. Shake and strain (best served over fresh ice). Garnish with orange twist.
