The only way to love your body in order to eat better is to learn about your body and how to appreciate it to eat better. This means reading and researching to find out facts about what your body is capable of doing and and what you haven’t even pushed your body to attain or do. Most times, if we look into the things our body could do, we will realize that we haven’t even done enough with our energy, mind etc as we could have.
There is a certain joy in knowing that your body can do certain things and that when it is fed some foods, it can perform wonders. The right foods can do amazing things to your skin, hair, eyes color etc. Basically, you are limiting your body and your potentials. Here are some steps that you can take to cause you to eat and exercise better.
Think of your body as the vehicle to your dreams. Honor it. Respect it. Fuel it
In order to drive your body to the level of perfection it deserves, you’ve got to feed it properly so it has the fuel it needs to carry you through the day. An energetic body is a gift that you can give to your body. This is done through eating right and exercising well. Being strong will help you accomplish more physically and mentally. Get physically fit for your health’s sake, adding to that, you also get to lose weight.
Create a list of all the things your body lets you do. Read it and add to it often
Sometimes exercising can be a chore and the only way to survive it is to do the things that you love to do that will get your heart pumping. Think of interesting things to do and make a list and tick every fun activity you did. This could be swimming, painting, dancing etc. Don’t let your weight or shape keep you from activities that you enjoy.
Wear comfortable clothes
Wear clothes that you like, that express your personal style and feel good on your body. They should also be a proper fit and appear to shed pounds off of you. If the clothes that you are wearing don’t make you feel confident, then that’s the wrong outfit for you.
Find a method of exercise that you enjoy
Find a method that you enjoy and do it regularly. Don’t exercise to lose weight or to fight your body. Do it to make your body healthy and strong and because it makes you feel good. Exercise for the Three F’s: Fun, Fitness, and Friendship.
Do something daring
When you love your body, you will do things to get it in better shape. You should also do something you’ve never done before. Perhaps you thought that you couldn’t join the dance class, fashion show or some certain sport. Give yourself a goal and make plans to get to your targets, then enroll in whatever you wanted to do. Prove to yourself that your body is capable of doing wonders and winning medals too if you put your mind to it. Run a marathon or do whatever you feel you could do to give your body the life that it deserves and don’t hold back.
