I DARE You to Drink This for 3 Days and Let Me Know What Happens to Scale This dare challenge is for all those who think that they cannot lose weight by drinking cleansing water having all natural ingredients. The dare is very simple and straight forward. You drink this for 3 days 3 times a day and then get on the scale and let me know what happened to the scale. This drink will help you lose weight and detoxify your body.  Are you up for this dare?

The 3 day 3 times a day dare challenge recipe is following.

Apple Cider Vinegar, Lemon and Cayenne  Cleanse Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1000 ml of water
  • 1-2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1-2 drops of lemon oil (therapeutic grade)
  • 1-2 tbs maple syrup (This is optional but I suggest you use it)

Preparation:

Preparation is simple as you have to mix all the ingredients and that is it. If you use lukewarm/hot water, it is even better but you can use water at room temperature as well.

You should consume one glass of this drink before meal three times a day. Continue drinking it for thee days.

If you do not have lemon essential oil, then you can substitute it with the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Use lemon juice of half of a lemon. However, lemon essential oil is less acidic and is gentle on your teeth.

Another alternate can be grapefruit essential oil.  Some people cannot handle the apple cider vinegar. In that case try using less quantity first day and then increase it over the period of 3 days.

Why it work?

Apple cider vinegar will suppress your appetite as it contains a compound called pectin which serves as an appetite suppressant. You will fell satisfied and full for longer time. You will consume less food which will also digest quickly.

Lemon essential oil or lemon juice as well as cayenne will also help your body to flush the toxins and suppress your appetite..

Before accepting this dare, you should note your weight as well as consult your physician. It is not for everyone!

      • This drink is for health. If you hit a plateau AND gained with this drink it could be several factors. 1. It could be hormonal. Wait a week & try it again. 2. It could be water weight. Drink more water. Your body will store more water without enough coming in. 3. You could be at a natural weight for your body type. Or at an unhealthy weight.

  1. I have this mixture already in the refrigerator, how long is it good for? I made large batch so its been in there over two weeks.

  2. I have to work, will this cause an issue for being near a restroom. And do you split the 1000 into three days or drink 1000 each day?

  3. Just made 2000 ml and drank my first glass. Wow that cayenne pepper is a bit warm. … I hope this helps I need something to kick start me… it doesn’t taste half bad actually, pleasantly surprised 🙂

  4. Wonderful cleanser. I used apple cider often just because it adds flavor to water. Two caps full every time I drink s glass of water. It used to help with weight but now it just flavored my water.

  5. I use organic ACV (with the MOTHER) with honey fresh lemon wedge and cinnamon. Sometimes if Im feeling really bold I’ll put some turmeric or curcumin. It tastes really good and it is also a detox.

  7. good thing I checked this again, I have for three days, been drinking it in one go.. and go is what I am doing. Gurgling guts.. and well you get the idea… will take it back to 3x a day… but amazed that the lemon and cayenne pepper with no sweetener is actually ok..

  8. I just tried this for 3 days. Got on the scale this morning and had lost a half pound. I was hoping for at least 2. Not bad tasting and easy to drink before meals.

  9. I have had this recipe for over 15 years from a holistic Doctor I used to see regularly. I know this drink as “Stars Lemonade.” The cayenne pepper is great for boosting your metabolism and also helps with any ulcers you may have. I gives me great energy in the morning and is so healthy and good for you. The more cayenne pepper you can put in it the better for you! This is a keeper and a must for keeping your metabolism running1

  10. I’m going to try this it had better work I’ve tried everything to loose weight but nothing works I am a diabetic and it is very hard to loose weight I’m insulin depdant and that makes it tough but I’ll give it a go and see what happens ill get back to you after I’ve tried it

    • I was an insulin dependant Diabetic also. I went on Ideal Protein diet and lost 51 pounds in 4 months. More importantly, I am off ALL meds. Even my cholesterol meds. I now walk 1 1/2 hours a day and have been on maintenance for 6 months. I’d check it out if you’re ready. FYI, it helps if you love vegetables.

    • I personally fix one container a day at home and another at work. I’ve kept it in the frig for at least 2 days. Mine doesn’t last that long so I’m not sure how long it would keep.
      There is really nothing in it that will spoil so it should last quite a while.

  11. I started drinking this a week ago and love it. I have tweaked it a little and I end up sipping on it all day long. I use 3 tablesoons of vinegar and a whole lemon squeezed with pulp. Also I have been adding in addition to the cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Both are great for you and the cinnamon actually makes it seem sweet. Also, I noticed that this curbs your appetite. In the afternoon if I feel like I’m hungry I drink a glass of this and the hunger goes away. Along with that, I now don’t like to eat anything sweet including a diet soda. It just taste way too sweet for me.

I used to drink apple cider with 1 cup of water before each meal when I was on my weight loss journey (I have managed to sustain) but now I feel like to need to do this again as summer has been hard on me LOL…..I think of this drink as it eating the fat you are about to consume before each meal:)

  13. It’s been a couple of years. I did this. I was amazed when I stepped on the scale. I also drank my mixture down with a straw. That just made it easier to drink it down. That pepper gets hot! It actually worked. But I used it as a cleanse. So kept food intake very low. Seems like I drank broth instead of vegetable juce. Really shocked at the scAle. Keeps u motivated!!

  14. Can this be used just for cleansing? Minus the cider? As an athlete, I need to eat very well but would like to keep the system cleansed of toxins.

  15. Im going to do this. Need ACV coz I drank it all. I will most likely add a tsp turmeric to each glass. I use 1 tblsp ACV per glass. May use coconut water instead. It is so good for you.

  16. You said maple syrup is better than honey. Is that because of taste or does it work better?
    Honey is a lot easier and cheaper here than maple syrup.

  18. Ok, so I just mixed this up and am starting it. I bookmarked this page so I can come back to it. I don’t hold out much hope for it, but hey! there isn’t an ingredient in it that isn’t good for you! I didn’t have cayenne so I used red chile powder (unblended) that we grow here in NM. Yum!

  19. I have tried this concoction. It did cleanse your system which made you go to the toilet and clear your bowels. But you don’t lose weight in 3 days. I lost a maybe a kilo In a month,rather than 3 days.. Get Real!

  20. I’m on second day and I’ve lost 6 pounds, am shocked at how this has worked for me. I am a male and have heard men lose weight faster than women, so says my girlfriend. I use bottled lemon juice and add a little more of it and Apple cider vinegar. This isn’t an fake comment nor would I come on here to fool anyone. I also have reduced caloric intake a little but not drastic. I wish this would work as well for all as it has for me, good luck all.

  21. This is a silly pointless exercise. If you drink a lot of water before each meal you will be too full to eat your whole meal. You can add cayenne pepper to any savoury dish without having to drink it. You can use cider vinegar in salad dressings without having to drink it. Any weight loss after 3 days can only be water and therefore temporary. So the whole dare is a pointless exercise. The only way to lose weight is portion control and exercise. There are no magic pills and no magic drinks.

  22. Ok so is there any one who actually lost weight with it ? I’ll starting it tomorrow would really like to know if anybody here actually got the results they wanted
