4 Home Remedies for Dry and Damaged Hair

1. Repair with avocado

Get a ripe avocado, mash it then mix it with one egg, then apply this on your hair. Make sure that your hair is wet. Avocados are very rich in vitamins and they are essential fatty acids and minerals. This helps to restore luster to your hair. Apply it on your hair and leave it for at least 20 minutes, then rinse .Try this once every week for damaged hair once every month for healthy hair.

2. Massage with butter

Get 2 tables spoon of butter or a reasonable amount that could be used up by your hair, rub it on your scalp and massage it well, then cover your hair with a shower cap for about half an hour. Then shampoo it and wash thoroughly.

3. Condition your hair with olive oil

Put the moisture back into your dry hair by warming up ½ cup of olive oil; make sure you don’t boil it. Apply it into your hair, then cover with a plastic bag and wrap with towel. Keep it on your hair for 45 minutes, then wash with shampoo and rinse well.

4. Rinse with tea

You might not like the idea of using tea to rinse your hair, but it is very good in dealing with hair damage. This helps to give you hair a unique shine on your hair. Use a quart of warm, unsweetened tea , then use it after you have washed your hair with shampoo. This would help enhance your hair color, so make sure that you use a tea that works with the color of your hair. A person with blonde hair should use chamomile tea and brunettes should use black tea in order to enhance the shine and enrich the color of your hair.
