With the different lightening creams available in the market that can be harmful to the skin and can also be very expensive to afford, it is best, safer and affordable to turn to mother nature for answers. Here are a few ways to naturally lighten your skin without causing damage to it.
Yogurt, a by-product of milk, is good for the skin due to its lactic properties and also has acid that aids bleaching in a healthier fashion. Simply rub some yogurt on your skin and leave for a few minutes and wash off with lukewarm water. There are various ways to use yogurt for the skin.
The most important ingredient in skin care is vitamin C, which you can get in abundance from oranges. Plus, oranges have bleaching properties that can lighten your skin tone. Simply mix orange juice and turmeric powder on your skin before going to bed. Wash off after 20 to 30 minutes. There are also other recipes to use orange for the skin.
3. Gram flour
This is also good for the lightening of your skin after sun burn etc. It also helps to remove excess oil and keeps the skin healthy. Mix flour with water to make paste and apply on the skin, leave till it dries then wash off with water.
Honey is also a good bleaching and moisturizing agent. It also fights bacteria in the body. Honey helps to fade acne, scar and sun spots, if used consistently. Apply on the skin and leave it for a while, then wash off wish lukewarm water.
The acidic property in lemon is a good bleaching agent that has vitamin C that works well for the skin. They also have antioxidants that are good for the skin. Simply dip a cotton ball in freshly squeezed lemon juice and apply to the skin, leave it for an hour then wash off. Do this daily for results.
6. Aloe vera gel
This is one of the oldest methods for skin treatments known for curing pimples or acne, spots etc. It can help to restore your skin’s original color and acts as a good toning cream. Simply cut the layers of aloe vera, squeeze out the jelly like components and apply to your skin. Leave it on for about 30 minutes, then wash with water.
