4 Tips To Cut Body Fat For Good

Getting rid of excess fat from your body is not something that you can accomplish in a day, and you have probably tried different things to make that happen, such as going to the gym often and keeping a check on the things you eat.

How about we deviate from that a little? If you are doing your cardio, working out, and eating right, yet you are not satisfied with the result? If your answer is yes to that, then this article is for you, because you will have to get back to the basics and follow some easy tips along with all your other efforts.

1. Drink more water

Water provides the body with a lot of benefits. It helps to increase your energy levels and relieves fatigue, boosts the immune system, flushes out toxins and promotes weight loss. It also helps to keep you feeling full for a longer period of time, and keeps the body well hydrated for effective blood circulation.

Although 8 glasses of water is the recommended daily water intake, you really shouldn’t limit yourself. The best thing to do is to calculate how much to drink depending on your body weight; that is, at least one ounce of water per 2 pounds of body weight a day, so if you weigh 100 pounds, you should drink at least 50 ounces of water a day.

2. Reduce your calorie intake

You have to reduce your calorie intake in order to shed fat, and this is done by consuming fewer calories than you burn. To find out how many calories you burn daily, calculate your Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) by multiplying your body weight (in pounds), by 13. Then calculate how much you burn per hour through exercise. Add the two results (RMR and calories burned at the gym), and write down what you get. Your daily calorie consumption should be less that this.

3. Reduce starchy carbs

Starchy foods provide the body with energy, but when it becomes too much, it provides the body more than it needs. This doesn’t mean you should get rid of starchy foods completely, as you will still need to derive energy from them. Simply reduce your intake of starchy carbs like potatoes, pasta, rice, and breads.

4. Eat a healthy breakfast

Skipping breakfast is not an option because your body actually needs the calories and nutrients from food at this time more than at any other time in the course of the day. Your body has been starved all night long, and you’ll need to boost it up by eating a proper breakfast with rich fiber and protein content. Studies show that eating a healthy breakfast improves metabolism.

If you follow these tips, you will see noticeable changes within a few weeks!
