List of foods that can help in your fertility are given below.
1. Take in carbs and limit highly processed ones
The good carbs contain fibers, such as fruits, vegetables, beans and whole grain. They tend to digest slowly and they have a more gradual effect on your blood sugar and insulin. Hence, the intake of foods such as the cookies, cakes and white bread are quickly turned into blood sugar.
The pancreas releases insulin into the blood stream which might slow down the fertility process. But the intake of the foods high in carbs would help in your fertility. Studies have found that the high insulin levels appear to inhibit the ovulation.
2. Unsaturated fats
Eat more of the unsaturated fats, because the intake of snack food, animal product has the ability to increase insulin resistance. Insulin helps you to move glucose from the blood stream to the cells, resistance make it hard to move glucose into the cells. Hence the pancreas helps to keep pumping out more insulin and the result is more insulin in your blood stream. Note high insulin level causes a lot of metabolic disturbance, that affect your ovulation.
3. Protein
Try to consume those foods which are rich in proteins, especially ones from the plants such as beans, nuts and tofu. This comes with healthy fats and it is relatively low in calories and can be very helpful for weight loss, which would help to increase your fertility as well as make you healthy.
4. Whole milk
Take in whole milk or dairy foods such as yogurt and high-fat dairy. A professor of the nutrition and the epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health, said that the more full-fat dairy products one consumes, the less he gets trouble with his fertility.
