5 Snacks That Won’t Leave You Hungry

Hunger can affect personal decisions that may have to do with your health. When you are hungry, you are more likely to go for the next available meal option, which has a greater chance of not being a healthy meal. Also, if you are on a diet, you may have to practice portion control which won’t allow you to eat more than a particular amount of food per serving.  In this case, you are likely to be hungry even after eating and you definitely know you can’t keep on eating, but rather have to wait till it’s time for the next meal. Staying hungry till the next meal will definitely do no justice, which is why snacks are what you should consider. Snacks may seam like an unhealthy option, but there are healthier ones you can choose from. Below are some of them.

1. Chips and guacamole

This snack is made with avocado, tomato, onion, fresh lime juice, garlic powder, chili powder and sea salt. You can serve it with Garden of Eatin’ Black Bean Tortilla Chips for added benefits, as they are made from organic corn and black beans. This snack contains a high protein content which will help to keep you feeling full and build and maintain muscle mass.

2. Curry roasted chickpeas

Add rinsed, drained and dried Eden Organic No Salt Added Chickpeas to heated olive oil in a saucepan, and cook for a few minutes, flipping frequently. You can also add curry powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and sea salt. This snack contains about 7 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber, which helps to improve satiety.

3. Parmesan-chive popcorn

Popcorn is generally known to curb hunger, due to its fiber content. Drizzle the solution over your popcorn and sprinkle it with finely chopped chives, to get just that perfect popcorn that you crave.

4. Greek yogurt deviled egg

Greek yogurt is readily known as a gut-friendly diet which aids in digestion. Mash the yolk of a hard-boiled egg with Greek yogurt, Dijon mustard and salt. Then spoon the solution into egg halves and top it off with sliced scallion.

5. Whole grain waffle with lemon-herb ricotta

Toast your waffle and top it off with ricotta mixed with lemon zest and chopped herbs like parsley, oregano and tarragon. You can use whole grain for your waffles to make it a healthy option; ricotta on the other hand is known for its high whey-protein content which helps to curb appetite naturally.
