3 Weight Loss Lies You Should Avoid

3 weight loss lies you should avoid to lose weight successfully.

In this day of the internet, where access to information is easy and cheap, access to lies is also equally easy.  How do you differentiate between what is true and what is not.

The following are three weight loss myths that are not true.

1. No breakfast

This lie applies to be genuine. Less food means that fewer calories are taken into the body, reducing weight gain, which is  wrong. When you are awake from sleep, your body decides how to plan the day ahead, part of which is what level your metabolism rate should be. If no food is eaten within the first few hours, it slows down the metabolic rate.

Your metabolic rate is a key factor and indicator of how much weight you will use, if any. A higher metabolic rate means your body burns more fat to cut down on weight, but a lower metabolic weight means less fat burnt. Not eating breakfasts slows the metabolic rate that, even eating later in the day does not raise it significantly and for long. This is also confirmed by numerous researches that show that, those who eat breakfast lose more weight than those who do not.

Another reason why this is wrong, is because research has also shown that hunger hormone levels are higher in those who skip breakfast than those who do not, forcing those who skipped to eat more during the day and they overcompensate for what they missed in the morning, taking in excess sugars and carbs that causes weight gain.

2. No eating after 6 pm

There is no set time to stop eating. You are only required to mind what you take in, and avoid the ones you that will affect your health. Foods that reduce your sleep melatonin hormone, causes gastrointestinal complications. There are also many other foods should not be eaten just before you go to bed.

3. Fruits can cause weight gain

First of all, no one has eaten so much fruits that he got fat. I am guessing that one will have to eat hundreds of servings of fruit every single day for a very long time before he got fat. Secondly, most fruits contain pectin fiber that, helps to reduce the absorption of sugars from the gut. This in turn helps to control blood sugar levels, not letting it reach levels where the body has to convert some to fat for storage.

Fruits also contain some of the highest levels of antioxidants on the planet. These and many other similar types of compounds stimulates the body to burn more fats, not store more fats.
