In the world of fast food noodles is practically what everybody go for because it is easier to prepare and it doesn’t take time so, people tend to go for it whenever they need fast food. The problem with noodles is that it is not always very healthy, but you can make your noodles very healthy and also make it contain the necessary food nutrients you need. This noodle with sesame seed and other vegetable recipe is very nutritious. The sesame seed contained in the noodles have a lot of health benefit. It is a high source of cholesterol lowering phyttosterols, it helps to protect the the heart health, it also helps to improve our balance hormones. Sesame seed helps to boost nutrient absorption in the body and helps to burn fat. research has also shown that sesame helps to fight the cancer.The other spices used in making this recipe like ginger and carrots are also very beneficial to our health.
1. Ingredients
- 350 grams of porterhouse steak
- 300 grams of Japanese ramen noodles
- 1 zucchini
- 2 sticks of carrots
- 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
- Ingredients for Sauce
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 2cm chunk of ginger
- 3 tablespoons of hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons of salt reduced soy sauce
- canola oil cooking spray
2. Method
Prepare your ingredients for cooking, slice your steak thinly, slice your carrots, slice your zucchini and grate your ginger. Cook your noodles as directed on the packet, then drain and keep it aside. in a large round bottomed cooking pan, spray canola oil and add your beef. Allow to cook for 2 minutes on a medium heat. After 2 minutes, add garlic and ginger and allow to cook for a little while then add your zucchini and carrot then stir, in a bowl add your sesame oil, grated ginger, hoisin sauce, soy sauce and mix them up this mixture is made for the sauce, in the sauce pan with the vegetables. Add your noodles and the mixture for your sauce and stir well and allow to cook until sauce slightly thickens, this will take about 5 minutes to get ready, when ready sprinkle with sesame seed.
